ABOUT
Sydnie Chandler Monet
Sydnie Chandler Monet’ Collins is a 20-year-old award-winning social entrepreneur, podcaster,
motivational speaker, author, mentor, and philanthropist aspiring to have a career in Communications.
As a purpose-driven influencer, Sydnie is the Founder/CEO of Perfect Timing Podcast and Live Your Future Educated – LYFE. She is ushering in a new generation of young influencers, celebrities,
innovators, and nonprofits on social impact projects by offering a safe platform for them to share their inspiring stories on her international podcast. After being on a hiatus, the Perfect Timing Podcast reboot will be live in 2025. Sydnie released 130 podcast episodes on global platforms such
as Spotify, SoundCloud, and Elite Conversation Talk Radio. Some of the most influential Gen Z guests include Young Dylan, Ian Brock, Alena Analeigh, Lexi Underwood, and expert guests Jade Mathis, Julie Kent, and Brandi Harvey.
Sydnie is a sophomore at Howard University studying Strategic Communication. This year, she is the First-Year Experience Coordinator for the Cathy Hughes School of Communication “ESSENCE” Council and is a HU Black Girls Vote chapter member. Sydnie is a mentee, communications intern, and “Speak UP!” Ambassador for Save A Girl, Save A World and an ambassador for the Girls Who Brunch Tour for the organization at various national conferences. Sydnie is finding her way on Howard campus as she has organized 2 Giving Tuesday events, helping the homeless and less fortunate with blessing bags. She recruited 40+ other Howard students who came together and packed bags that were distributed to people in need across the D.C. metropolitan area!
In 2024, Sydnie became a Live Más Scholar after being awarded $25,000 from the Taco Bell
Foundation. Over the summer, she was flown out to San Diego to participate in the foundation’s annual Summer of Connection Summit, participated as a vendor for Tea Botanics with Save A Girl, Save A World, interned for Congressman Steny Hoyer on Capital Hill, and became a member of the Tides Foundation’s Youth Advisory Council for Grantmaking. In May, she hosted her first annual Youth Mental Health Walk & Rally titled “Unmasking the Game.” She’s a believer in creating what you don’t see, and her dedication to initiating change and supporting equality is the legacy she will continue building for herself and others daily. As a motivational speaker, she inspires to captivate audiences by delivering multi-platform messages at conferences and workshops.
She is a 2-time guest speaker at the Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation’s “Girls Who Rule The World” Retreat in Atlanta, GA, where she kicked off her initiative called “You Are Enough,” where she asked over 100 phenomenal black women to write letters of encouragement to the young girls in attendance and addressed a message about finding who she is titled “I Am.” Sydnie didn’t want to stop with just affirmation letters. She gifted each girl at these events with a gratitude jar to reflect the many blessings, and the response was so impactful, it brought many of the girls to tears.
Sydnie was also a testimonial speaker at Issue One’s Safe Tech, Safe Kids campaign event, where she spoke on her negative relationship with social media and how she made it a positive one through her creation of Perfect Timing Podcast. Her speech was shared with the U.S. Judiciary Committee as part of the hearing with Big Tech CEOs.
She has also been a speaker and workshop facilitator for the Girls Who Brunch Tour at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, and Baltimore, Maryland, with the founder, Dr. Ni’cola
Mitchell. While at these events, she spoke to over 100+ girls about self-esteem, mental health, and
entrepreneurship. Sydnie's voice to represent its community on issues addressing social media's negative mental and public health impacts is a testament to her advocacy. Her dedication to pushing representation matters and building a platform that is inclusive of everyone’s needs. She was recently named a “Rock Star” as a grantee for the Washington Area Women’s Foundation’s Rock Star Fund, which has enabled her to develop her platform and expand her reach into more communities.
Most notably, Sydnie has been named one of only 25 winners in the 2023 Prudential Emerging
Visionaries program by Prudential Financial, LV Media’s Best Teen Podcast Award, a $5,000 grant
recipient of Ms. Foundation for Women, State of Maryland Governor’s Citation for Outstanding
Services to name a few. Sydnie has appeared on television shows such as FOX 5 DC Good Day, WJLA News 7, WUSA 9, NBC News 4, Fox 45 Baltimore, and WHUR. She has been featured
in Rollingout, The Baltimore Times, Girlslife, Voyage LA, and Upworthy Magazine. Sydnie lives and teaches her motto “Never Fear Failure but be Terrified of Regret.”
